Our company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist our PR/Marketing team. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, works well on their own, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.  Flexibility and adaptability are key traits required for this work environment.

Duties to include (but not limited to):

  • Writing monthly and one time social media posts for clients
  • Uploading social media posts for clients using scheduling tools (such as HooteSuite and Skedsocial)
  • Website updates for clients
  • Simple bookkeeping using Quickbooks Online
  • Working with Constant Contact to manage and send client emails
  • Event registrations & tracking (using Constant Contact & Google docs)
  • Overall administrative assistance
  • Event coordination assistance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and WordPress CMS as well as trouble shooting
  • Nice to have experience working social media platform organizers such as HooteSuite, but can be trained as well.
  • Quickbooks Online experience preferred but can be trained
  • Content writing creativity and skill preferred. We would love anyone who would bring fresh ideas to the table.

Work Environment/Expectations

  • Expected *5-10 hours each week (*Some weeks might require more hours per events scheduled and heavy deadlines. Days/times can be set to work with individual’s schedule (within reason). Available for 1-2 hours of phone calls/urgent matters throughout the week.
  • Conrad PR offers the greatest flexibility in making your own hours. While we do offer enormous flexibility and give a lot of grace and consideration for personal time, this person must be professional when at the office. It is expected that time each week will be scheduled and committed to.  Only emergency/urgent matters will be acceptable reasons for leaving office during work hours.  There is a level of professionalism that is expected, although there is a very casual work environment at the office.
  • Pay is $17/hr. Individual be employed as a contractor and given a 1099 for taxes at year end (no payroll taxes will be deducted; individual will be responsible for these at year end).
